What’s Up (and other ramblings on a Friday afternoon)

We’ve got a ton of stuff going on right now at the NPE home office.

So, thought the best way to give you all the updates was in this blog post.

In no specific order, here they are:

1. I-AM RAINMAKER is going OFF!

Unless you were in a cave this past week you probably heard that we launched I-AM RAINMAKER on Wednesday with 118 new customers joining the program. Our goal was to start with 100.

But before we could shut the thing down, a rush of folks came through the door.

We’re glad to have em’, but it’s keeping our staff and support teams busy right now with getting everyone trained and up to speed on the system.

Today’s fast-start training webinar just rocked, and I gotta say the more we get into taking folks through this thing we’re all stoked on it.

It simply CRUSHES anything out there when it comes to providing you with simple, turn-key, done-for-you marketing services with integrated technology.

Each month we’re providing a hot newsletter AND offline postcard (which the system mails for you) to do all your follow up.

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Today we reviewed how to hook up scripts to your website, so you can track within a contact record who’s visiting your site, when, how long they are on, what pages they are visiting, and more.

AND you can even watch it all happen real time on your IPhone or through a Google Gadget if you run gmail.

Don’t know if that all sounded like crazy geek talk or not, but let me clarify…

I-AM RAINMAKER IS the ultimate marketing machine.

And you’re gonna want to get in on this.

To join the waiting list for the next time we reopen (hopefully less than 30 days as we get everyone off the ground here) then join the list here.

2. Yesterday’s GOLD PLUS call-in day rocked

Yesterday was our regular scheduled Q2 call-in day for GOLD PLUS members. Eric and I fielded calls non-stop for 4 hours straight. With some AMAZING stories of folks just rocking.

It was so awesome to hear from folks in the US, Canada, and even the UK.

Especially since when you turn on the mainstream media right now, all you here is bad news.

It’s great to here nothing but GOOD NEWS about how are members are thriving.

And so many had wonderful things to say about going through a course like AUTO-CLOSER over a year ago. And how it continues to produce for them, month-in-and-month out… even in a slower paced economy.

Hats off to all our members.

We give you the systems, tools, and coaching… but it’s YOU guys who take full responsibility for your success, implement, and make things happen.

Well done.

3. We’re moving next week

I moved up to Durham, NC 2 years ago for Eric and I to knuckle down building this business. And we’ve certainly accomplished all our goals to date and then some.

But Durham hasn’t grown on me, and frankly we’re at a point now where I’ve got time to have a life… in addition to having our killer business… now that we’re over the “start up” phase hump.

So a few months ago Christina and I made the decision we wanted to move back to Orlando and now we’re making it happen this week.

Eric mostly writes from his home office anyway, and we get together face-to-face for project work and our 2-day monthly meeting offsite. So this doesn’t affect our operations in any way (except now Eric will be flying to Orlando once a month for our meetings, instead of Dick flying up to NC).

What does this mean to you?

Well, just bear with us over the next couple weeks.

As we shut down the office here, Christina and I pack up our house, and Monday the movers come to load everything up in trucks… next week will be a little slower on handling support e-mail, phone, etc.

But by the end of the holiday weekend, and Monday July 6th, our new office will be set-up, phones turned on and internet hooked up (hopefully), and we’ll beĀ  settled in our new house.

So… not too much downtime given it’s a significant transition for our office and team.

4. New staff coming on board over the next 2 weeks

Some of our staff are moving to Orlando. Some will go to virtual status. Some will stay virtual status. And we’re got some new hires coming on board shortly.

I’ll be doing final interviews Monday, July 6th with canidates for our new customer service manager starting that week.

So you’ll have someone new to talk to when you call the office or e-mail support shortly.

Dick and Christina conducted first round interviews yesterday in Orlando, and from what I hear we have some great candidates for the position. I’m looking forward to their final interviews and adding a strong new member to our team.

5. Something special we decided to share will be announced next Tuesday

Over the last 2 weeks, we’ve been hearing a LOT of folks talking about struggles with organization, efficiency, time management, and overall ‘getting things done’.

Not that everyone doesn’t struggle with this as they grow as an entrepreneur and business owner, BUT….

… we’re hearing more and more about it lately.

I-AM RAINMAKER addresses much of that on the marketing side, because we’re able to essentially do-your-fitness-marketing-for-you.

But there are other important aspects to this as well, and REAL business systems that we’ve shared with our top clients over the past several years to address this.

Our thoughts had always been to reserve this content and training for just our ‘high-level’ groups.

But now our thoughts have changed a bit.

We’re committed to giving everyone all that we can.

And there couldn’t be a more important time than now to develop laser like focus and become what we like to call a ‘MASTER PRODUCER’.

So, stay tuned for info on this coming Tuesday.

Your gonna really benefit from this material, and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.

Ok, that’s all for now.

Have a great weekend.

I’ll be knee deep in packing boxes most of the time.

We’ve got movers showing up Monday am, and a lot to get ready between now and then so…

…wish me luck!

Best,
Sean

P.S. Just before writing this blog post, I recorded an intro for our July Audio Success CD of the month. And it’s a killer interview with a PhD sport and exercise psychologist who did his thesis work on Personal Training Client Retention.

I was forwarded this interview from our partners running all the NPE programs down in Australia, listened to it while on the road last week, and enjoyed it so much that we’re gonna send this out right away to all members for the July CD.

If for some crazy reason you are NOT currently an NPE member, and reading this post now, then get on over and register at Fitness Business Connection (heck it’s FREE trial for goodness sakes) and you’ll get this in the mail when we ship at the end of next week.

How much is retaining just 1 more client for another month or ‘pack’ of sessions worth to you? A few hundred dollars? A few thousand dollars?

My guess is if you’re at all like most fitness businesses, maximizing client retention ESPECIALLY during the summer months is pretty important. So get on over and register for the free trial, and we’ll send this right out to you.

Here’s another health club marketing post you may enjoy.
