What’s going on at my house today (fitness marketing lesson for you)

Here I am with my entire living room broken down for the video crew to set up a green screen and lighting for today's shoot. It's been quite a production, but everything came out very well and we're excited to have this project come together in just a few weeks. What project you ask? More on that in a few weeks....
Don’t know how you’re spending your Sunday, but I’m working today.
In fact I’ve had an entire video crew over at my house today filming for an upcoming video… dare I say “movie”… we’re planning to release next month.
The section we filmed today will last all of about 2 minutes (if that) in the final production.
But if you’ve ever shot video before, and seen what a production it is, then you know that for 2 minutes of footage… it’s a LONG process.
All-in-all the video crew has been here about 4 hours.
In fact, they’re just breaking things down now while I’m upstairs at my computer sending you this e-mail.
But why I’m really writing you today is to share a lesson about fitness marketing.
The lesson is summed up with the following acronym:
A.B.M.
Which stands for Always Be Marketing.
If you’re not, someone else is. And it’s VERY important that you stay positioned out in front of your marketplace at all times. Because as marketing for clients gets more competitive, and everyone is gunning for you, you can’t afford to sit back and relax. You’ve got to be pushing the envelope.
That’s what we do with our business here at NPE, and I strongly encourage you to do the same.
Multiple poles in the water, finding new and exciting programs your clients WANT that you can offer to them. Engaging your ‘herd’ in unique and special ways… that’s all part of it.
Most important though, is your commitment to building the SYSTEM that drives it all.
Without a system, you’re just running around from one tactic to the next… never getting any real traction or leverage. It’s the system that will determine just how big (and powerful) your business grows over time.

P.S. It’s Sunday and not a traditional working day. But just like sports, the best teams train while others sit around and celebrate what they did ‘last season’. In my mind there IS no ‘off season’. You’re either training, or you’re not. And if you want to improve and become better than you were yesterday… you’ve got to have that kind of attitude. Always. That’s how winners approach their goals- with a commitment to train hard, stay focused, and persevere… no matter what.
