The Success Mechanism

Lessons from one of the masters- Dr. Maxwell Maltz.

I’m very grateful that Dan Kennedy, and now Matt Furey continue to keep his work alive.

If for some reason you DON’T have a copy of Psycho-Cybernetics in your personal library, go to your local book store and pick it up this weekend.

Read 1 chapter a night.

Keep going until you finish it.

It’s a classic and should be required reading in school.

If you have kids, read it with them.

  1. Eric,
Great stuff. I was introduced to Maxwell Maltz’s work 30 years ago and I have lived by it. This process along with intention and “hard ass” work will help anyone to achieve more than they thought they ever could.
    Thanks for the refresher.

    Hello Eric,

Thanks for sharing this video with us. I have never heard of Mr. Maltz’s. I totally believe in what he is teaching.

  3. Eric and Sean,
Thanks for the great post. I just recommened Psycho Cybernetics to my Body Balance class last week so this post is perfect timing! I’m sending Eric’s email on the list to my clients right now.
    Thanks,

    Jeff

  4. Great stuff. Even though I haven’t nearly mastered these patterns, it’s very “NLP”, which I’m a big believer in and I use some of these techniques with closing clients or trying to bump them to more frequent training.
But, hey, I can always use some more of that on me, as I often do better helping others before focusing on myself (that’s why I’m in the Evo Acceletator course!

    Hey Eric and Sean!

I am very familiar with Dan Kennedy (thanks to you two educating me), and just ordered Psycho-Cybernetics. Can’t wait to dig in.

ps. Every time you mention a book on your blog, I order it that same day. Thank you both for inspiring me every day to grow, get out my “box”, and be a better person! I am so grateful to have found NPE.

I, too, have been a fan, believer in and promoter of Dr. Maltz’ book and philosophy. In fact, I am wondering why he left out the powerful concept of “visualizing” that actually has a foundation in the Bible. “Whatever you ask in prayer (meditation, creative thinking, etc.) believe that you have received it and it will be yours.” Dr. Maltz discovered and shared with the world the fact that all what we see around us was once a thought, a conception, in the mind of someone who saw its existence and made it happen. If everyone were to search his/her mind regarding something s/he wanted, desired badly in the past s/he would realize that the vision of having that thing, be it material or immaterial, was so strong that s/he could “see” in his/her mind’s eye it’s reality — and it came to pass through what Dr. Maltz calls the “servo-mechanism” or the subconscious that will work on it even when we’re sleeping. The key is getting both our conscious and subconscious minds to accept the fact that a vision has already come to pass.
That is why, if the desired item is material in nature, a wise person will post pictures of it in every highly visible location in their home, car or office.
Now get the next great book for achieving success in life and business “The Greatest Salesman In The World” by Og Mandino. Don’t be deceived, it is not a book about nor for sales people. It IS a christian mystery story that will change ANYONE’S life for the better.
