Coach Berry is one of the classiest gentlemen I know.
He gives so much to all our NPE Members, never asking anything in return.
And he did NOT ask me to contact you about this. He just sent me an email asking for my vote.

How To Give Yourself A $75,000 Raise
I’ve got a cool trick to show you. (Warning: Math below)
I say it’s a ‘trick’ because when you do this, it feels like magic.
You almost instantly gain 25% more time to work ON your fitness business, and you give yourself a BIG FAT raise.
Listen closely, here’s the trick…
Let’s say you currently charge $60 per session for personal training services (using this for example purposes only, you can substitute in whatever rate you charge for whatever fitness service you provide).
And let’s say you’re doing 20 sessions a day, five days a week.
That’s $1200 a day, $6000 a week.
Today you decide to raise your rates by 25%, to $75.
You send out a letter to all your clients notifying them of the change.
And BAM…25% of them quit on you.
So now you’re doing 15 personal training sessions a day.
15 X $75 = $1125 (you lost $75/day)
$1125 X 5 = $5625 (you lost $375/week)
If you add that up over the course of a year, it’s almost $20,000.
Not an insignificant loss.
But keep reading…
Because look at what you’ve gained:
- Higher margin (more profit)
- Better positioning with premium pricing
- Better personal training clients (the ones who stay clearly value your services)
- 25% more time to work ON your fitness business (freaking HUGE)
So, what do you do with that time?
- Improve your internal customer service/operations/marketing systems so existing personal training clients fall even more deeply in love and refer more frequently and consistently to your fitness business.
- Improve your external marketing systems by focusing on attracting personal training clients who are EXACTLY like the ones you have now (remember, they’ve already proven themselves to be loyal fans).
- Read a lot more (few things will sharpen your saw faster).
Do those three things, aggressively, and in 60 days (90 if you’re slow) you’ll be back to 20 sessions a day…
…AT $75 PER SESSION!
If you subtract the small loss you took over those 60 days ($375/week X 8 weeks = $3000), you STILL have given yourself a $75,000 raise over the course of a year (do the math if you doubt me).
And you’re working with better clients, and have better positioning in the marketplace.
Voila…magic!

This fitness business coach breeds champions
Every Monday morning we do a company meeting by teleconference.
So I just got off the phone with Sean, Camelia and the rest of our NPE team (except for Dick, who’s out playing golf).
The first part of the meeting, we go around the horn and everybody gives a quick update on ‘the good news’ both personally and professionally, from the past week.
Camelia reported that her two daughters, Hana and Heather, BOTH took home GOLD MEDALS over the weekend in Tang Su Doo (a form of Karate) – they are now Regional Champions.
Both girls are black belts (not sure why they’re belts are red in this pic – but they have black stripes)…and neither of them is even in high school yet (in fact, they’re just 11 and 9 years old!)
Camelia (literally) breeds champions.
Which is no surprise, really, because she’s no stranger to high achievement. Camelia sets and achieves ambitious goals herself, and is an expert at teaching others how to do the same.
Particularly fitness business owners.
All of our VIPs who work directly with her attest to that fact.
Which is one of the reasons why I call her “The Accountability Queen.”
She is an extra-ordinary coach, an extra-ordinary parent and an extra-ordinary person.

Being Neutral Is The Kiss of Death

If you’re not giving your OPINION and infusing that opinion with passion, hard core advocacy and personality and take-no-prisoners, absolute BELIEF in what you say and that your way is THE WAY, then there is no good reason for people to listen.
Because then you’re just another “reporter.”
