Toronto Personal Trainer and Strongman Conor Kelly is Pulling for the Hungry
I’m about to show you the most thoroughly impressive fitness marketing publicity campaign I’ve ever seen.
And since I personally know Conor Kelly, the man doing this, I can tell you without hesitation that his motives are pure. His foremost goal is helping to feed hungry Toronto school children.
But Conor is also a savvy fitness marketer who understands how to capitalize on his good deeds by generating lots of publicity.
Now, what you’re about to see can’t be duplicated by most personal trainers or fitness professionals. That is, unless you’re a champion strongman like Conor.
So your initial reaction will probably be: “Yes, it’s admirable and cool what Conor is doing, but how does that help me?”
No worries, I’ve got you covered.
Before I show you Conor Kelly’s 28,000 pound charity bus pull to benefit the Toronto Foundation for Student Success, let me tell you what I’ve got up my sleeve to help you generate monster media coverage in your local area.
I’ve created a charitable fund raising fitness marketing campaign that I believe, with all sincerity, can rival what Bill Phillips did with his Make a Wish Foundation charitable tie-in for Body For Life and his transformation challenges.

Bill Phillips raised over $2 million for charity
Bill’s raised over $2,000,000 for charity, so I realize what I’m saying is pretty bold.
But I like big, hairy, audacious goals.
I’ve always been a BIG believer in giving to get. That’s the guiding principle by which I live my life. And I’m making this new charitable campaign one of my foremost BHAGs.
And I want you to be a part of it.
The great news for you is that:
1. This will be the easiest publicity you ever get (and the biggest)
2. It will be ongoing publicity (not a one-shot-wonder)
3. The scope will be international, national and local (you will benefit from everyone’s efforts, not just your own)
4. It will benefit so many people (not just the charity and you)
5. It will serve as a jump-start for the de-conditioned (so it’s not just about raising charitable funds, it’s about getting people into fitness)
6. It can blow up. I’m talking HUGE scale.
I’m laying it on the line right here, right now, in a very public way. I’m committing to making this happen. I’m making it a personal mission. And over the past ten years I’ve proven, repeatedly, that nobody can do fitness marketing like I can. So you’d be well advised to be a part of this. The benefits to you in the coming months (and for years beyond that – remember, this is an ONGOING publicity/charity campaign) can be significant. I’m talking about real power-positioning and marketplace domination.
That’s a big promise. And I’ll be throwing everything I’ve got behind it, as will Sean and our whole team.
I’m not going to go into particulars about the campaign now. I’m saving that for NPE Mega Training, and for those in attendance.
As it stands now, being at Mega Training is a prerequisite for participation in this monster publicity and lead generator.
If you want to be a part of this, you need to be in Orlando October 16-18 for Mega Training. You can register right now by going here.
Okay, now let’s talk Conor, who will be presenting at Mega Training, so you’ll get a chance to meet him and talk to him about his 28,000lb bus pull act of charity.
NPE VIP Member and Toronto Personal Trainer Conor Kelly is in the final run-up to his October 10 Charity Bus Pull in downtown Toronto at Yonge and Dundas Square from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
You can see one of his training videos (including 450lb squats and 265lb atlas stone) on Conor’s Toronto Fitness Blog.
And you can see what he’s done with a dedicated web site for this charitable event at pulling for the hungry – Conor Kelly’s Toronto Strongman acts of charity.
Some of the things you should pay attention to:
- Conor’s Toronto pulling for the hungry web site is outstanding, incorporating a great story, excellent credibility, compelling graphics, video, social media…and LEAD GENERATION! (be sure to watch the Conor Kelly video here)
- Conor’s blog is linked to his Personal Trainer Toronto web site and to his Pulling For The Hungry site.
- He’s using his blog to promote this charitable event internally, and the pulling for the hungry site to promote it externally. There’s synergy between the two.
- He’s leveraged ezinearticles.com and prweb.com to generate links to his pulling for the hungry site.
- Conor’s working his local media to make sure they are promoting his charitable bus pull
- He’s using video extensively – on his blog, the main site and of course in his youtube.com channel
- He’s using other social media like Twitter to keep folks up to date on his training regimen for the bus pull
- And finally, he’s putting his BUTT ON THE LINE to make this a big winner all the way around. And that’s one of the most tried and true ways for generating massive media attention…by being or doing something OUTRAGEOUS (read about PT Barnum).
We all support Conor and his efforts to help the Toronto school children. And we hope you will too. If you live in or around the Toronto area, or know people who do, please direct them to Conor’s Pulling for the Hungry web site and encourage them to donate or show their support some other way.
Even if you’re not in the Toronto area, you can still donate to a really worthy cause. I did.
