Fitness Challenge Update, Facebook, Boot Camp and da Vinci

This morning in my email I received a Facebook invitation to participate in a charity fund raiser one of our VIP Boot Camp Members is doing.

It’s a simple idea (those are usually the best). He’s reached out to his Facebook community offering to do push-ups for dollars.

The premise is that he’s made his clients sweat for so long, now it’s their turn to get revenge. Brilliant. And Facebook, combined with your house list, is a perfect way to get the word out.

This is a fun strategy that gets people engaged and involved. No reason you can’t do it, too. Building community and making fitness fun is a big part of your job.

We’re in the process of adding an entire system to our VIP programs (and DEEP-CORE) on how to leverage local internet marketing and social media to generate leads and build community around your fitness business.

Facebook is just one of many ways to do this.

We already have the whole web site and blog thing nailed down. Now we’re going to crank things up a notch or ten.

I also just checked in on our Member forum and saw that another VIP Member is now up to 332 participants (yes, three hundred and thirty two) for her body challenge contest.

She is pretty pleased with those results, as you can imagine.

I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if she transitions 100 or more of them to her boot camp, and dozens more to one-on-one.

Just goes to show you what can happen when you combine effort with smart marketing.

Boot camp is huge. It’s the hottest thing out there now, with no end in sight. If you’re not on the boot camp bus, now’s the time. Because if you don’t capitalize, the opportunity will disappear. If you relax and try to ease into this, or put it off too long…the competition will eat your lunch.

We’ve got boot camp dialed in. All the systems are in place. All the marketing you need is here. You just add effort.

I invite you to grab a VIP Boot Camp info-pak and application.

No magic bullets, just smart fitness marketing,

Eric Ruth

P.S. Did you know…on this day 557 years ago, the original Renaissance Man was born. Mathematician, inventor, engineer, painter, sculptor, architect, musician…he did it all incredibly well.

He’s Leonardo da Vinci, and he’s one of my heroes. And not just because we were born on the same day ;)

Have a great day, and grab your Boot Camp VIP application and info-pak.

These area exclusive spots are going quickly.

Here’s another health club marketing post you may enjoy.
