The Week After MEGA TRAINING

What a week it’s been.

This year’s MEGA TRAINING was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more pleased with the quality of the event and how everything came together.

I’m sure you can imagine that putting on a large event like this is a WHOLE lot of work. And this year we stepped it up by adding a 3rd day to the agenda, and inviting a whole lot of our partners, clients, and friends to come join us.

With a total of 21 speakers in all there was a LOT of work going on behind the scenes.

But if you work hard, good things happen. And I’m so proud of our entire team for coming together and pulling off a great show.

Sunday evening after the event our team all went out for a great dinner at KOBE steakhouse on International Drive. It was Bari Baumgardner’s birthday over the weekend, and Christina’s birthday coming up this week, so we had a good post MEGA TRAINING and joint birthday celebration. Great laughs and good times had by all.

Then Monday I had a breakfast meeting with one of our partners, then went back home to spend the day with James Fitzgerald and his family who were still in town.

Got to hit a workout with James in my garage gym, which was a whole lot of fun and kinda like the equivalent of having Michael Jordan come over your house and play hoops in your driveway. Wild.

Monday evening Jeff Tomaszewski joined us for dinner, since he was still in town for a couple days meeting with the manager of a new facility he just purchased in Altamonte Springs.

Jeff has rocked it this past year, getting runner up in our NPE Member of the Year contest on Saturday evening, and has some VERY exciting things cooking for the next 12 months.

Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday was kind of a blur for me… but our team was hard at work processing new orders we received from the event, and working through VIP application interviews.

VIP is starting to get pretty exclusive. We’ve now got multiple territories that we’re having to turn down applicants for because they’re sold out. And I hate for us to have to tell a great customer, that’s worked hard through all our programs over the past year or two, “Sorry, we’re sold out”. But that’s the way VIP operates- with area exclusivity.  If you want to get notified the last time we open up the program this year (which I expect will be for a brief window in December) that make sure you get over and register here.

Thursday afternoon I flew up to New York for meetings with some new partners of ours. We’ve got some very exciting things in the works with these guys, which I look forward to telling you more about who they are… and what we’re working on to support you… in Q1 next year.

Thankfully, yesterday I caught up on some rest and personal time… because I’ve needed it. When you’re hitting it hard, down time is just as important to keep your mind clear and focused, and your energy level charged.

So here I am now on Sunday, doing a little clean up, writing this blog post to you, and getting ready for my weekly review. I’ll spend about 2 hours on my weekly review process today, and will then be ready to hit it again this week. If you’re NOT currently taking the time to perform a weekly review, and using a checklist to run down important things like current projects, calendar items, etc., then you’re gonna be limited in your ability to handle much volume and stay in control.

A great resource you can grab to support you there (which includes a copy of my personal weekly review checklist I’ll be using today) is Project Manager Pro.

SIDE NOTE: Was great to see several top members come up and share stories about how this little program helped them tremendously this year. It’s great to know that things like this we work on to support you in your growth are truly making a difference in helping you get everything you can out of all you’ve got.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday,

Sean

P.S. We’re still getting lots of orders for the DVD’s from MEGA TRAINING, and I hope we’ll have those shipped out to you in just a couple weeks time. If you’d like to pre-order them for a great discount, the order form is still up here.

P.P.S. A heads up for all the folks we’ve had on the waiting list now since July… we’re getting ready to reopen I-AM RAINMAKER very soon. Stay tuned for more details.
