“The way we change is by doing something that makes us uncomfortable.” ~Sean

What to do when your own brain attacks!

Sean and I did a coaching call with a newer VIP member ‘Bigglesworth,’ who is making huge changes in her business. She has implemented a new sales system, updated pricing and packaging for continuity, fixed her margins, and done some heavy-hitting marketing to bring immediate revenue. She is continuing to push forward and make changes, and knows what she has to do.

And… oh yea, she had her “Best Month Ever” last month!

Even with that success, she still has 3 problems that are slowing her progress, and therefore her growth:

She’s still “stuck” working IN her business training clients

She doesn’t have a Strategic marketing plan

She’s struggling with staff issues… partly because there is no Employee Agreement in place outlining all policies and procedures for staff to follow.

Creating the strategic marketing plan will be accomplished by going through our DEEP CORE™ marketing system and leveraging the marketing campaigns and tools needed to satisfy her lead generation and sales goals.

The Employee Agreement and policy issues will be solved by using our Fit Biz Legal tools, in conjunction with an attorney, to assure all legal items are covered. This will put an end to a lot of employee issues and set the expectations for her employees doing what they should, and acting the way they should.

The last remaining issue is her training still.

This is not another ‘get out of training song’

In fact she was actually out of training for 3 weeks, but then got sucked back into the trenches.

During our call Sean asked her simply ‘WHY’?

She had 2 reasons for diving back into the trenches. The first reason was simple.

She likes training clients and likes the interaction.

The second reason was that when she trains she can keep an eye on things and know they’re getting done.

Sounds all too familiar, but there is more to this than simply training. Don’t forget Bigglesworth knows she needs to stop training. BUT she allowed herself to get pulled back in.

The real story and the part to pay attention to is WHY SHE GOT BACK INTO IT.

This is the same for all those owners who ARE NOT getting done what they need to. Those of you NOT attacking what you need to get done to become owners (not just have an expensive job), and create the lifestyle that YOU want.

What feeds our head trash and stops us?

Let’s face it AND be honest with ourselves here…the fact is, we don’t do what makes us feel uncomfortable. Our bodies are literally programed to avoid feeling uncomfortable.

We continue to train, and spin wheels we shouldn’t, to avoid discomfort. It’s why we don’t have clearly defined goals, continue to train, not hire staff, do too much, get paralyzed and stop moving forward. Its also not looking at and knowing numbers, not dealing with staff issues, not fixing problems, and not developing a plan.

You are comfortable doing what
you feel comfortable doing.

You know how to train, you know how to be the technician; it’s comfortable.

You know you can’t fail, and YOU remain in control.

Time to burst the bubble.

Like so many other fit biz owners out there we can’t get passed the training or start doing things to grow the business because we are trapped in doing what is comfortable. In Bigglesworth case it’s training.

It’s great that she wants to help people and loves training. That shows she still has the passion for the business she’s in. But Bigglesworth needs to take a good look in the mirror and be honest with herself about training…aka… IN THIS CASE IT’S A CONVENIENT EXCUSE TO BUY INTO… SO SHE CAN AVOID FACING NEEDED CHANGES THAT ARE VERY UNCOMFORTABLE!

“The way we change is by doing something that makes us uncomfortable.” ~ Sean

That quote really sums it up and I can personally relate to it. If you don’t change what you are doing now, experience a little discomfort, you will continue to produce the results you are getting now, and I bet they are not what you want.

When I owned my studio, I trained 13 hours a day, and although I was exhausted, it was what I was used to. Only after getting outside my comfort zone, did I really experience tremendous growth in my business. I implemented a new sales system and pricing structure I had never seen before, I started tracking numbers that I never looked at before, and I spent time reviewing them.

All of these changes were new and VERY UNCOMFORTABLE.

How did I get passed it?

I knew one simple truth.

What I was doing was NOT producing the results I wanted, no matter how hard I worked. No amount of energy drinks, sleepless nights, self-convincing, and self-denial would change my situation.

Recognize you need help, and take MASSIVE ACTION.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

If you want to be a trainer then be a trainer. Walk away from business ownership. There is no shame in that. In fact, if it aligns with what you want and makes YOU happy then don’t wait, DO IT NOW.

If you want to be a business owner then you need to set the systems up in your business FIRST. Establish systems that run your business, and establish the base for long-term success.

Then, if you want to train, do it. But do it because you have time. Do it because it gives you satisfaction. Do it because you worked through the process that made you uncomfortable.

Our campaign slogan for Pushups For Charity this year is “What do you push for?”

Since we’re now cranking on everything for over 113+ events happening all across the country on May 19th, I thought today would be a great opportunity for me to share a little more about what I push for…

…and also open up the door for you to share a little about what YOU push for too.

NOTE: If you’re not signed up for a PUC event yourself, get in on the fun and do pushups with me next Saturday by joining my virtual team here!

90 seconds… and you can do it anywhere, your garage, in a park, whatever!

Join in and get some!

My family

Both my grandfathers have played a very influential role in my life.

I continue to become more and more aware of just how much they have (and continue to) impact me as I grow older.

Both were military men.

My dad’s father, Paul Greeley, Sr served as a captain of a minesweeper in the US Navy during WWII.

Here’s a great photo I was given recently by my Aunt.

On the back of the photo is a note that says “Day I took command of YMS-126.” Which from what I can find online in the Navy archives must have been around September 1942.

Here is a photo of my grandfather, Paul Greeley (on the far left), and his crew the day he took Command of YMS-126.

I have some great memories of him, which I reflect on frequently.

He was ALWAYS chock full of enthusiasm.

EVERYTHING was always “great!”

Inside joke for those of you who will get this reference: There was NEVER an “Ok” in front of that great”… with him it was always just “GREAT!”

Every single morning (until he was forced to be in a wheelchair… and even then he got creative with pool workouts) he was up and hitting early morning workouts. Calesthetics, pushups, sit-ups, you name it.

At our family lake house in New Hampshire, when he was there, the morning fitness ritual always included a swim in the lake.

Even when that water was FREEZING cold in the 50′s or 60s… he would jump in and get his swim on.

As a little kid I remember thinking, gramps is crazy!

I could go on and on with amazing stories about this man here, but I’ll save them for another time.

My second grandfather, my mum’s dad, was Andrew Garneau.

He served in the army during WWII as well, but played a very different role.

He took care of wounded soldiers.

See any connections with what I’m doing here with Pushups For Charity?

This is a photo of my other grandfather, Andrew Garneau. This photo was taken during his station in New Zealand with the Yale medical unit. This was a US military hospital were the wounded were taken for surgery, recovery, and getting back to health.

Here’s a photo of when he was stationed in New Zealand with the Yale medical unit. This was a place were the wounded were taken for surgery, recovery, and getting back to health.

So many lessons I’ve learned from Andrew too. Probably the most memorable was to always smile, relax, and have fun. I can’t think of a human being that “relaxed and enjoyed the ride of life” more than him.

I NEVER once saw the guy stressed or rattled by anything… EVER!

He was a man of very deep faith (both of my grandfathers were) and was always at peace with himself and the world around him.

And he was an amazing friend to everyone in his life, always sharing and giving back to all.

Freedom and Independence
(for myself and all those I have the honor to serve)

So the first part of “why I push” is my family. I always want to remember and honor both by grandfathers and their legacy.

The second part of why I push is for the great ideals of Freedom, Independence, and the American Dream… which is also very closely connected to our military and my own entrepreneurial journey.

I am 120% committed to fighting for freedom (in business entrepreneurs are the “warrior class”) and independence… for myself and others.

In fact these are values I believe so strongly in that I’m literally willing to die for them.

But guess what… in business you don’t have to die!

The WORST thing that can happen is you fall on your face, lose your money, and have to start over!

And there are thousands of business success stories that have pushed through a challenge like that and gone onto extraordinary greatness… so there really IS nothing to be afraid of!

SIDE NOTE: Bullets are scary because they can make you bleed and kill you. But money is just paper… so don’t allow yourself to be scared of charging into battle following your dreams in business because of that… ever!

My journey also includes leading other men (and women) to fight for themselves and their own freedom & independence as business owners.

So I push for all of THEM… and for YOU!

NOTE: John Du Cane likes to call me “the great helmsman” for the role I play in taking the helm of the ship, and leading others through storms and avoiding shipwreck to make it to the the promise land (kinda like my grandfather the Navy Captain).

Lots more on this topic for another time… a good bit of which will be revealed at MEGA TRAINING this year in John’s “You as Hero!” presentation and my presentation on Leadership.

To give back and say thank you

The third reason I push is to give back and say “thank you” to ALL of those who have served and fought for the same values and country I love.

I have chosen a different path in my life to pursue business rather than a military career (as kid I also flew planes with my Uncle who was an Airforce C-130 pilot, and then at one point looked at attending Annapolis when I was in high school).

But I NEVER forget that the only reason I’m able to enjoy the freedom and independence I have as an entrepreneur and American citizen today is because of the many generations of great men (like my grandfathers and other patriots) have laid down their lives for us.

I have tremendous gratitude for the debt we owe our forefathers.

I hope in some small way I can honor all those who serve and have served our military with my efforts and contributions through Pushups For Charity, now serving on the Operations Board for the Boot Campaign, and the other projects I get to play a role in.

What Do You Push For?

I think one of the MOST important things you can do for yourself as an entrepreuer… and a human being for that matter… is to really get clear about who you are and what you push for.

Part of that may be wrapped up in your family history and people who have played an influential role in your life.

Part of that will include the core values and causes you believe firmly in and are committed to.

And it will include the vision you have for your life and ultimately the legacy you’d like to leave behind when you’re no longer here any more.

I know it may be scary to share a little about your life on a public blog on the internet, but I’d really like to ask you to share a little bit here anyway because I’d like to know you better.

What do you push for?

What (if any) connections to you have to a life of service and/or the military in your own life or family?

What gets you out of bed in the morning and what are YOU fighting for?

Please add a little bit to the comments below.

You ADD to your own personal power and confidence when you share your story with others.

Sean

P.S. I’d also like to ask you to join me in doing some pushups on next Saturday May 19th (Armed Services Day) in honor of our military and to benefit wounded soldiers.

We’re sending out details to everyone who’s responded to my blog post, or replied in via email, today. Let me know if you’re in by adding to comments here or on yesterday’s blog post!

In 11 days we’re hosting our national Pushups For Charity events across the country.

But if you can’t attend a local event *live*, then I’d like to invite you to join my “virtual” team right here on the blog!

It’s real simple:

1. Post to the comments area below to let me know you’re in!

Make sure you give your full name and include your best email address when posting. That way we can send you additional details over the next several days.

2. Go sign up on our Crowdrise page here

Simply head on over to our Crowdrise page, hit the big red “Join the Team” button, and then follow the instructions!

3. We’ll send you further details tomorrow!

If you’re savvy, you’ll probably figure out how to upload your photo and other details on our Crowdrise team page. But I’ll send you more on that shorty.

Basically as my “team member” you’ll help us spread the word via email, Facebook, and Twitter about the Pushups For Charity challenge.

You’ll ask your friends and family to make a tax-deductible donation to the Boot Campaign (a 501c3 organization) which benefits raising awareness for our military and supporting wounded veterans.

And you’ll do some pushups with me and everyone else across the country on May 19th!

Sound like fun?

It will be!

Join the team and help me in supporting our veterans!

Sean

P.S. If you think you’re REALLY good (or even just kinda good) then I’ve got a special challenge for you. Record your pushups (AMRAP in 90 seconds- we’ll publish standards shortly) on May 19th and if you’ve got the best score you’ll get an all expenses paid trip to Hollywood in August. That’s right, you’ll party with the cast of FX’s hit show Son’s of Anarchy, me, and all the other Pushups For Charity champions!

I want EVERYONE to join in the fun here. So I’m NOT stopping until we have at least 100 folks signed up virtually to my team!

Doesn’t matter if you live across the pond… you can get in on this too. The more we have the merrier! And I PROMISE you some fun surprises to come for my team members! Get on it!

Greg is an amazing coach and a real solid guy. So I wanted to be sure and share this resource with you!

If you coach athletes and fitness enthusiasts outside of the competitive weightlifting world, and have searched for how to integrate the lifts in a way that is safe and effective, then this book should be in your library.

Greg’s presents a method of teaching the Olympic lifts and their variants simply, safely and effectively to all types of athletes.

And the book also includes rock-solid information on program design and flexibility training to prepare athletes to perform the lifts.

Here’s what folks are saying about it:

“Coach Everett’s Olympic Weightlifting for Sports is a extraordinary product for any sport coach s library. As a proponent of the power clean and its variations for performance training, I found this book to be an outstanding reference for teaching methodology for the Olympic Movements. Coach Everett provides user-friendly terminology for the explanations of these movements. This book is a must-have for any coach who implements Olympic lifts in their program.”

- Joe Kenn, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, Carolina Panthers

“Coaches, make room on your bookshelf for Greg Everett’s Olympic Weightlifting for Sports. Thorough, well written, well organized, and full of information & pictures to help make each point understandable. This will help make you a better coach, and in turn help improve your athletes potential to succeed. I’m excited for Greg and excited to put the information to use!”

- Jim Malone, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, San Diego Padres

“This is, by far, the most detailed and thorough book about Olympic weightlifting technique. Greg Everett has done an excellent job in presenting and organizing the material in this book. The photos are great. I strongly recommend that any strength coach or sports performance coach own this book if he/she is teaching deep squatting, snatch and clean pulls, and Olympic style lifts. It is well worth the money spent.”

- Ethan Reeve, Strength & Conditioning Coordinator, Wake Forest University

“Olympic Weightlifting for Sports is another outstanding book by Greg Everett that breaks down everything you need to know about the specifics of Olympic weightlifting. I really like the way Greg breaks down the progressions for each movement. I’ve always been a big believer in keeping things simple and specific for both coaches and athletes. This is a must-have for anyone trying to understand all aspects of Olympic lifting. All athletes need to understand why they are training a certain way. This book explicitly covers that for Olympic lifting.”

- Jeff Dillman, Director of Strength & Conditioning, University of Florida

“This book is a great addition to any strength & conditioning coach s library. It gives very basic and descriptive instruction that does not complicate what a strength & conditioning coach has to teach and coach on a daily basis regarding Olympic style lifts.”

- Kevin Yoxall, Head Strength & Conditioning Coach, Auburn University

“Greg Everett is my go-to resource when it comes to the Olympic lifts. Whether it s coaching, program design, or even addressing common limiting factors like flexibility, Olympic Weightlifting for Sports leaves no stone unturned. Whether you re a young coach learning the ropes or a grizzled veteran, this book is an amazing resource. Quite simply, if your goal is to teach athletes how to Olympic lift safely and effectively, this book needs to be in your library.”

- Mike Robertson, President of Robertson Training Systems and co-owner of Indianapolis Fitness and Sports Training

Click here to pre-order your copy on Amazon now

Sean

P.S. Greg also just announced an “Advanced Olympic Weightlifting Seminar” taking place at his place in October. From what I just heard, even though it was only “soft launched” a few days ago there are now only a few spots left.

Check out details of the “Advanced Olympic Weightlifting Seminar” event on his site here.

P.P.S. To help Greg celebrate his new book launch, I’m giving away 5 copies. All you’ve got to do in order to get yours free is post to the comments section that you’d like in on the drawing.

I’ll randomly select 5 folks from all postings at the end of this week and will send you a copy of the book on me!

“I asked my client and they didn’t like my pricing so I changed it”

I was talking with a VIP member recently and he was having a few issues with his clients. He has just opened his studio and offers Boot Camp, Small Group Training, and one-on-one training.

Since opening he has been getting some ‘feed back’ from his clients about his packaging and pricing. In addition he has run into a few clients who are going on vacation and want to put their training package on hold.

He is a good guy and wants to make his clients happy so he ‘worked with’ his clients and made some deals for packaging, let a few people put their packages on hold, and started to make exceptions to the rules for his clients all in the name of ‘trying to keep the clients happy’.

What he hadn’t realized is that he was losing control of his business, and letting his clients run it for him.

I am not saying that you can’t ‘work’ with your clients on certain things, but if you don’t have policies or procedures in place to stand on then you are setting yourself up for this type of thing on a daily basis.

Before you know it clients are paying what they want, when they want, and even designing their own training programs. Clients will have different session rates and your tracking and business structure suffers. Not to mention your bottom line.

Then if you ever want your trainers to renew clients and take payments they will have no clue what ‘special package’ the client is on.

What’s worse is when your employee’s don’t see you stand up for the business, start see instability or weakness in your leadership, and then follow your clients but telling YOU how to run YOUR business!

Why do we let our clients run the ship?

There are a lot of reasons to why we let these things happen. Read that part again. ‘…reasons we LET these things happen.’

That’s right you allowed this to happen.

Why?

You’re scared to lose them- You may not be making the money you need and you think that “well its better than nothing’.

Scared to upset them- You are trying to over deliver and be a ‘great owner’ so you try to be the good guy/gal. OR you want them to stay and you don’t want them to leave.

You’re Desperate- You need money so you take what they will give you.

You’re not sure how to handle the situation- You just are not sure what to do so you follow the road that the clients pave for you. They come up with a solution and you just go along with it.

You have no policy in place- Your clients have no rules or idea what is acceptable to so there is no reason for them not to try and get more out of you.

Common Problems AND Solutions

PROBLEM: Clients don’t want to commit to a package that you offer. They might want to only do a few sessions here and there and pay you as they go, but still want to be in the schedule for their time slot.

SOLUTION: Review your AUTO-CLOSER™ pre-qualification script, and if they aren’t a good fit then you simply tell them that. Sometimes when you show a prospect this they suddenly become complacent.

PROBLEM: Let’s make a deal- Clients always want to feel like they are getting a deal so they will try to maneuver you into some sort of deal.

SOLUTION: Offering them a special Paid In Full incentive can do the trick. Otherwise stand firm to your policies.

PROBLEM: Clients try to set their own prices- Believe it or not some clients try to set their prices based on a past trainer, or program they have been to.

SOLUTION: Its simple. YOUR program is going to be a different cost because YOUR program is different. I have had clients try all types of things to get a price they wanted. How you decide to handle this will determine the tone of your relationship with this client. Just think what will happen during renewal.

PROBLEM: They don’t want to follow the program-Clients are like kids in a lot of ways. Tell them NOT to do something and they do it. Don’t eat this or that and guess what? That’s all they seem to be eating.

SOLUTION: Not everyone wants the 6% body fat plan. Some clients want to just feel better. It’s that fine line we walk as trainers between giving a client what they NEED, and providing what they WANT. Setting the program expectations from the initial sale is critical. If a client isn’t following the program exactly, or getting results fast enough then have a discussion with them. Mutually agree with each other what you both want from the program.

PROBLEM: No Showed and don’t want to get charged- They didn’t show to their session for whatever reason and since they weren’t there they don’t feel they should be charged

SOLUTION: Having a policy in place and agreed upon at point of sale is a must. Have the client read through and sign this to acknowledge they agree to it. Also, be sure to have your policies posted and documented so they are always visible.

PROBLEM: Going on vacation and want to put their package on hold. Client is going away for a week or more and wants to put their sessions on hold till they get back.

SOLUTION: This would depend on your policy and if your packaging is session based or time based. Again your policy should be clearly defined and agreed upon at the point of sale.

PROBLEM: I’ll renew when I come back next time, forgot my wallet, my wife will pay, and my husband will pay. I don’t know about you, but when was the last time you left the house without you license and money?

SOLUTION: I don’t know about you, but when was the last time you left the house without your license and money? Having a policy in place that clearly states no session is booked, or conducted until it’s paid for can help prevent this.

PROBLEM: Late Cancelling- Client cancelled their session because they can’t make it a few hours before their session, and don’t want to get charged.

SOLUTION: 24-hour cancellation policy is another must. A step further would be the need for the client to reschedule the same week to not lose the session if you are POLICY states a certain commitment of sessions each week.

PROBLEM: Nutrition- Clients that flat out tell you they are not following the nutrition program at all, or continually eat opposite from what they should.

SOLUTION: Clearly your client needs more support on lifestyle and behavioral change issues… and probably other areas as well. Make time to support your client in these areas, it’s just as (if not more) important than teaching movements and counting repetitions. If you need to “upgrade” your coaching skill set here… do so. There are a number of great programs offered by NPE partners to support you in becoming a better coach in this area.

Conclusion

At the end of the day the policy and procedures are what you have to fall back on. And you MUST have systems in place in your business. This eliminates having to waste time and energy dealing with the same issues over and over again that cause you needless frustration and pain.

If YOU aren’t willing to stand up and take control and responsibility for the success of your business… which ultimately includes the success of your staff and clients… then no one will.

No one can do this for you.

And it’s all part of “stepping up” as an entrepreneur and business owner.

When you do, it’s amazing how quickly things start “coming together” for you.

I’ve seen it happen time and time again in clients I get to coach and work with everyday at NPE.

When I was in the UK last week, one of my sessions was on teaching “Fitness Marketing Referral Secrets.”

I won’t share the whole presentation here, but after we worked through a LOT of foundational work about referrals that is CRITICAL to cranking up the quality and quantity of referrals you receive, we then focused our discussion on MEDIA.

I think everyone has heard the message before that “if you want to receive more referrals, you have to ASK for them!”

Well, this is very true.

But “asking” is NOT about badgering your clients to “PLEASE tell your friends and family about me” every single week.

ASKING is much more about using as many forms of MEDIA as possible to get your MESSAGE (and offer) out to your MARKET.

Business Cards = MEDIA

There are a number of different types of media you can use to get your message out, and one of the most fundamental and basic is your business card.

Now, in full disclosure I’ll tell you that it’s been a loooong time since I actually used a business card.

Since all our customers and business partners we work with live scattered around the world, most of my communication and interaction with folks is done via phone, email, and mail today.

I’m not often in situations where I would even have occasion to give a business card out to someone I was just meeting for the first time.

However, since I’ve been traveling to events and speaking at conferences lately… I’ve been reminded of the need for a decent business card.

All I’ve got now is a very crappy business card, that is single sided, and has only my name, the NPE logo, and basic contact details on it. Not only that, but it was printed on that terrible ‘pre-cut perforated paper’ you get at the office supply store by one of our staff.

I can’t recall when, but I think someone made up like 20 or so of these for me like 2 years ago… and I’ve only used a few of them.

So now you’ve got an idea about just how little I’ve relied on a business card up to this point.

And heck I’m the President of a multi-million dollar, international company!

Geez, you think I would have a “legit” business card by now!

But no, the truth is I don’t.

At least that goes to show you that “pretty doesn’t mean successful.”

I’m sure there are a ton of folks with very sexy business cards, that have spent many months getting their logo and other things just right… while I’ve invested my time focusing on much more productive activities that actually market my business, sell a product or service, and drive growth!

But again, I’m not championing that you should ignore this.

You AND I will both benefit from better business cards.

So lets talk about how to do just that, OK?

Elements of Successful Business Cards

So back to my UK sessions on referral marketing…

One fun exercise we did in the workshop is I asked everyone to take out their business cards, and pass them to the front of the room (not a bad lead generation tactic, huh?).

And then we reviewed the best business cards in the room, talked about the elements that made them strong, and then also discussed (as a group) ways to make them better.

I promised the groups I spoke with in these sessions that I’d write a blog post with more info from our conversation, so I’m following up on that promise with this post now.

The BEST business card shared from all the sessions was from Jon Cruz.

Jon has a personal training studio in Gibraltar. You’ve probably heard about the “Rock of Gibraltar” as a reference before. Well this is where Jon lives. If you want a little history and geography lesson about this British territory go here.

I really enjoyed getting to meet Jon. It’s obvious from the moment you speak with him that he’s a very sharp coach, who’s committed to serving his clients and making a difference in the lives of others. My kinda guy!

I want to thank Jon for attending my sessions and agreeing to share his business card with everyone for this post. It’s not easy sitting in the “hot seat” when the whole world of all your peers is watching. So Jon, thanks for “stepping up” and participating.

I hope you get some great value out of this post and ways to continue improving your business card like we discussed in the session.

OK, so let’s take a look at Jon’s business card and talk a little more about why it was the best card shared…

Here's the front (and back) of John's business card. It's like a little booklet and NOT a standard business card size, which immediately makes it stand out as unique and different. This is great!

This is the "inside" of Jon's business card when you open it up.

ODD SIZING- From the start you’ll notice Jon’s business card is unusual. It’s a different (odd) size, and it’s like a little booklet. Which immediately makes it stand out as unique, different, and memorable.

And that’s half the battle!

So I like this a lot.

SIGNATURE PHOTO- The next thing you notice about Jon’s card is his photo. This is a good signature photo of Jon, smiling as he would normally do when a client walks into his facility, and wearing his coaches “uniform”. The photo is also taken in Jon’s studio, as you’ll notice from the mirror behind him and the equipment he’s surrounded by. This is great because it really helps “frame” who Jon is and what he does. If I just showed you this photo, and asked you the question “what does this guy do for a living” you would probably guess correctly that he is a coach. And THAT is how you want a “memorable” signature photo to work… so folks “get it” right away.

I also can’t overemphasize how important (and disarming) a sincere, warm, and genuine SMILE is.

When you REALLY smile, folks can’t help but smile back when they look at you.

You don’t need (or want) to look tough, unfriendly, or unapproachable. You want to appear as someone folks (your market) would feel comfortable approaching and speaking with.

Be confident with yourself, look the camera in the eye, pretend you are saying hello to a friend or family member, and SMILE!

CONTACT DETAILS- Obviously the next most important thing we want a business card to do is share our contact details. So this is where you’ll of course list your name, business name, phone, website, email, etc. Jon has this on the front of his card, but will benefit from a little clean up here (Jon this is my first suggestion to make this stronger). You’ll notice Jon has listed 2 phone numbers and 2 email addresses.

You’ll be better served by simply listing just one of each. That way it’s easy for folks to find us, and not wonder “should I call this number or that number?” when picking up the phone. Now I’m guessing (not sure) that one of these phone numbers is to Jon’s studio and the other is his cell. Well, my recommendation is just give folks your studio phone. You don’t need clients calling your cell phone at all hours. Let them call the facility and leave a message if it’s after hours. And if you REALLY felt the need to “be connected” to your phone all the time (which I don’t recommend, but that’s another blog post) then I would simply forward that facility number TO your cell phone when appropriate.

Same goes with email addresses. Use just one, and between an “unbranded” email address like gmail or hotmail, and a “branded” one with your company domain name (yourname@yourwebsite.com) use the branded one. It’s more professional and gives the impression you’re organized enough in your business to have that set up.

BENEFIT COPY/SERVICES DESCRIPTION- The next thing you’ll notice about the card is a listing of Jon’s services (private training, group training, and corporate training). AND you’ll also notice a little copy about how Jon promises to help his clients with this section “1. Challenge Yourself 2. Commit Yourself 3. Get Results”.

First off, I really like Jon’s motto of challenge yourself, commit yourself, and get results. That’s great. I think this could be expanded on further, with a little more description of why people come to him, the NEEDS they have (problems they’ve looking to solve, goals they want to achieve), and then some PROOF of the results he’s achieved with them (rather than just saying “get results.”

We talked about this in one of my other sessions, but EVERYONE “says” they get results for their clients. But ask them to share PROOF of that and most coaches/facilities can’t show you anything. This isn’t because they aren’t getting results for their clients (although that is the case with some), they simply aren’t DOCUMENTING the results they’re helping their clients achieve and therefore they’ve got nothing to showcase in their marketing.

My recommendation to everyone is GET SOME PROOF and then SHARE YOUR PROOF IN YOUR MARKETING!

This will go much farther in helping your marketing connect than simply ‘making a claim’.

Anybody can make a claim. PROVE IT! and you’re instantly ahead of the pack.

Now let’s talk a little about the service offerings listed as well.

You’ll notice Jon lists Private Training, Group Training, and Corporate Training. This is good, but I would suggest it would also benefit from some more description copy.

Because to the average prospect, they have no idea nor do they care what “type” of training they get… they simply a) want results and b) don’t want to be made to look/feel stupid.

So more could be done here to speak directly to the REASON WHY folks are coming into see you (get in shape for a special event, have more energy and not feel like crap in the morning, look good naked) rather than THE TYPE OF FULFILLMENT MODEL you’ll be selling them.

APPOINTMENT REMINDER/CANCELLATION POLICY- Next you’ll notice on the “back” of Jon’s card (when it’s folded down) is an area for appointment reminders with his clients. This is great and I really like it. Very much like what you’d get from doctor or dentists office with a “reminder of your next appointment.”

Jon also has listed his cancellation policy as a reminder that “no shows” will be billed at the full rate, and late cancels are billed at 50% of the standard session rate. This is good too.

The only thing I’ve have to comment here is that I would charge the full rate for someone no-showing OR late cancelling an appointment. The effect is the same for you when someone does either, because you don’t have the time to rebook your session… I don’t believe suffering a loss in income should be your problem. Put this responsibility on your clients to show up when scheduled or pay for your time regardless.

The key here is YOU have to value your time, and then clearly communicate that to those you work with. Time is time. Don’t discount or de-value yours… or your earning power!

WEBSITE LISTING- On the inside of the booklet when you open it up you’ll notice Jon has a full calendar, so he can circle dates for next sessions. I think this is a little repetative of the back side of the card and would suggest we could use this real estate better. But we’ll get to that in a moment. For now I want to address that fact that we see 2 websites or web addresses listed here. This is kinda like the 2 number or 2 email thing. Best to have ONE place to send folks reading this business card.

SIDE NOTES: Again, I can relate to this problem because in addition to having a TERRIBLE business card (mine is much, much worse than Jon’s) at NPE we also have multiple websites all over the place!

Over the last several years we’ve gone from main ‘hub sites’, to mini-sites, to this blog, to membership sites, to stand along product sites, and more.

Sometimes when I sit back and reflect on this I think…Geez… it’s amazing anyone can even find our websites and wants to give us money online!

But that’s on our list of priority projects for the next 3 months, you’ll see a new “main website” for NPE coming soon.

Anyway, if you’ve got a few websites…. just list ONE web address for people to go to. Makes it clear what to do, as opposed to folks wondering (which URL should I type in my browser?).

WHAT’S MISSING

OFFER/CALL TO ACTION FOR PROSPECTS- Ok, what’s missing here from this card is good copy, offer, and a call to action to PROSPECTS.

Everything we’ve seen so far is really focused on speaking with people Jon already does business with.

But for this business card to function as a lead generation tool with NEW folks he meets (prospective clients, Strategic Alliance partners, etc.) then I think we could really transform the inside of this booklet to serve THAT purpose.

So, now we get into defining WHO is your customer, WHY they are coming to you and crafting your MESSAGE around that to best connect.

THEN we need to make them an offer, with some clear benefit copy around it, and clear CALL TO ACTION about what to do next.

If you really want to pump it up, use some scarcity and urgency to boost response as well… but that is a little tougher to do if you’re printing a ton of these in advance. So we’ll have to use simple “evergreen” copy that serves this purpose.

Now, we could go into a whole long post about just THAT, but it’s Sunday and I want to get outside and hit the lake wakeboarding today.

So I’ll keep this tight by sharing we should include a headline like “Who else wants to _____________, ___________, or ________________?”

A little message speaking to the PROBLEMS folks come to you looking to solve, or the GOALS they come to you looking to achieve.

Then some details about your business credibility and/or PROOF of how you’ve delivered results for your clients (a couple short testimonials, list of celebrity clients, or before/after photos of people you’ve gotten in shape).

THEN you need to make them an offer.

If you “Front end” offer to engage your sales process is a consultation, then offer a complimentary consultation (a $xx value), and explain what it will include and then how to redeem it (go to website or call you on the phone- again here is why we want to have ONE website and ONE phone number to drive folks too.)

Now to pump up response, we could include a simple line like “limited spots available, all new clients accepted on a first come, first serve basis” or something like that.

SOCIAL MEDIA DETAILS- So Jon may not have a Facebook fanpage, YouTube Channel, or Twitter address. And that’s ok.

But more and more social media IS becoming an easy “low risk” way for folks to check you out and see if they jive with who you are, your community, and overall business “culture.”

So if you’ve got a Facebook fan page (and hopefully you’ve gotten a personalized address now for that) then share it here with an Facebook icon. Like www.Facebook.com/yourfanpage .

Here’s another session attendee’s business card I liked, Claire Mockridge.

You can see Claire's got a good signature photo here, some description around the type of clientele she works with (mom's), and good social media info. Nice!

Here Claire's got product shots of a couple of info products she's developed which is great credibility building. This is good. But this card could be expanded to include the elements I shared above.

Claire’s business card includes a number of great elements. She’s got a great smiling signature photo, good clear contact details and social media info (which I’m sure her target audience- mom’s- loves checking out), good design and colors (pink!), and on the back good product shots of her books/dvds which showcases great credibility.

Nice job with this Claire!

You can go further with this though including some of the details I’ve reviewed above with Jon’s card. But of course, to have room for all these things… you’ll have to bump to a larger size business card, more like Jon’s “booklet” format.

Summary

Now I’ve got about 50+ additional business cards collected, and we could go through a few more samples, but I think you get the idea now of the “elements” of a successful business card.

Take out your own card, compare it against this “checklist” of elements shared here, and see how you stack up.

Chances are you (like me) will probably benefit from “upgrading” your business card.

It’s one of the simplest tools you’ll most likely use everyday (and I’m starting to use again myself!) so take the time to give it some love!

And this is by no means a “complete” list of everything that could be said about a business card.

So if you’ve got something to add to the conversation, or questions on YOUR business card, simply post to the comments below.

Ok, it’s Sunday and the sun is shining where I’m at in Dallas today… so time to get outside!

To your success,

Sean

P.S. What other elements do you think could be included in a business card?

Do you have a unique or original example to share?

If so, please post to comments here and let us know!

Last week I sent an email announcing a “Pub Quiz” on the blog in tribute to our UK adventures.

And it’s high time I announced the winner!

We had 28 comments to the post.

But amazingly a huge number of them did NOT qualify for the contest.

Gee whiz guys!

Guess we’re gonna need to practice some “Sean says” games.

Which is just like “Simon says”, only with me leading the game.

Here’s the section from my last email announcing this little contest:

Are you ready to test your fitness business knowledge base?

Think you’re smart enough to get this answer right?

Do ya?

Good!

I’ll even make it easy for you with a “fill-in-the-blank” format.

“The only magic bullet in business is actually a _________ _________.”

2 words.

If you think you know em’ (or can dig through this blog post to find the answer) then post it to the comments section along with what YOUR ________ _________ includes right now.

OK?

Got it?

Go!

Several folks got the right answer (which was directly in the article, all you had to do was read it!).

The answer was “The only magic bullet in business is actual a Strategic Plan.”

Yet, many folks missed the second part of my instructions which were to “post your answer to the comments section along with what YOUR ________ _________ includes right now.”

Many did NOT post any info on what THEIR strategic plan included right now.

Now, to be fair… answering this in full required that you actually do some thinking about CREATING a strategic plan if you don’t have one already.

And maybe that was asking a bit much.

But I routinely challenge EVERYONE around me to “push it” and DO MORE.

And if you’re gonna be a member of our community and a reader of this blog, then that now includes you too!

Hey, I figure you can go answer silly questions on the internet anywhere.

I want this blog to be a place of learning and personal/professional growth… in addition to having some fun!

SO I’M NOT GOING TO LET YOU OFF EASY!

Yes, I’m going to ask you a) read instructions in full b) do a little “thinking”.

You NEED to do more thinking!

Heck, we all do (myself included).

That’s how we grow!

And growth is something that can NEVER be taken away from you.

So that’s my “deepest wish” for you.

That you continue growing as much as possible.

Because that’s where all the good stuff in life happens.

Don’t go through life living like a lamb, be a LION!

Alright, that’s my soapbox lesson and message for the day.

Now, onto the contest winner chosen from all entries received…

The “pub quiz” winner is… Jeff Jones!

Here’s Jeff’s post:

“Sean….the answer is a “Strategic plan” that should include the following:

Strategic alliances: we currently use numerous business that our clients like and love.

Public speaking: We are currently paired with a local Orthopedic group and giving monthly talks to our local hospital.

Networking: Each week we send one of our trainers to our local Chamber of commerce group events.

Referrals: We have started to implement the Client Cloner program which has been awesome. Thanks NPE.

Social Media: Facebook, Twitter..etc…We are just starting to implement all of this…Shame on us! Unfortunately, I’m not as computer savvy as Jeff T. “

Congrats Jeff!

A gift package of some of my favorite books will be going out in the mail to you next week , along with a personally signed card from me (would send it today, but I’m back on a plane again now!)

Keep up the great work!

And hey, if you’re one of those folks out there who feels like you don’t really have a good strategic plan in place right now…

…AND you’d like some guidance on putting one together from my team and I (folks who’ve been there, done that…

…now in multiple international markets…

…with offices in the USA, Australia, and now a NEW office opening up soon in the UK…

…with 2x recognition (soon to be 3x) on the Inc 500 list of fastest growing privately owned US corporations… YES!, we DO practice what we preach…

…then just fill out your details to receive a complimentary diagnostic consultation here.

GO HERE TO REQUEST A COMPLIMENTARY DIAGNOSTIC CONSULTATION WITH A MEMBER OF OUR TEAM

We’re a bit backed up (again) with a TON of folks we met in the UK last week now standing in line to talk with us.

But Kennon on our team will get right back to you and be sure to get you on the calendar for one of our next available call slots.

To your success,
Sean

P.S. I’ve got a TON of great things coming soon on this blog.

Stay tuned for more “meaty” business posts in the days ahead… including a big post I promised to all the folks who came out to see me speak in the UK last week!

“I am broke I have no money what should I do?”

The answer is almost identical if you are just starting out or you have an existing business.

I was speaking with someone yesterday who had no clients.

They had tried some well-designed print ads, and were trying to develop Strategic Alliance partner’s.

First and foremost we should know by now that print ads, and direct mail need to be tested. This is typically a higher cost marketing strategy. It has its time and place and it does work, but you need to have the resources to test, adjust, and test again.

This client had no response from his marketing efforts and was completely worried.

The stress of not paying bills caused him to panic.

He decided to advertise more, and try what he was doing but put more effort into it.

The client spent more time, and pushed himself harder because he figured it would pay off.

Hard work always pays off right?

Unfortunately, this went about his marketing the wrong way, and didn’t adjust to the lack of response like he should have.

Instead he turned up the volume on a bad song (another Sean saying).

The most confusing things I see owners do when they get into crisis mode is try to do more of what ISN’T WORKING.

Facing no money and not being able to pay bills should force you to focus on LOW COST marketing. Instead I see business owners become more reactionary than they already are.

Owners start darting and clawing at HOPE that one thing will be the magic bullet.

(We like to call that the Hope and Pray method….)

Don’t make the mistake that when you are in crisis mode to do MORE of what is not working.

People often mistake or confuse being busy with being productive.

This is nothing you haven’t heard before as a member of NPE.

If what you are doing isn’t producing results, aka generating paying clients, why would you add more things that aren’t working to your plate?

Your magic bullet is actually a strategic plan that should include:

Strategic Alliances-Do not confuse this with having a ‘buddy’. A true SA will deliver leads, paying clients, or both consistently. The ones that do not produce results you move on from…quickly!

Find the businesses where your clients are already going and target them first. If you have no clients, go to the business that match your target market. Don’t rule out anyone as an SA. Start with complementary businesses and then expand from there.

Public Speaking-Go find in all local newspapers, community centers, public access channels, or online, etc. where groups of people are already gathering and find the person organizing the event. Or better yet, just show up.

Offer your VALUABLE expertise and show them how you can add MORE VALUE to the group by doing a 15 minute speech on the ‘5 Ways to Maximize…….(match content to type of group)’

Networking- Make a new rule for yourself that if someone is in arms length of you to strike up a conversation. Sounds like a lot of work right? If you are going broke then you really should be dragging people to your facility by the hair (might be a little overkill).

Joining BNI groups, rotary groups, church groups, or the local chamber of commerce is also a target.

Referrals- Come up with an offer that you will give a person who referred someone to you. Think of the value of a client and come up with a bonus for the person that referred a paying client to you. Run this with everyone.

The magic bullet in this case is for you to do a hard push for referrals and Strategic Alliances, and public speaking. For those that have had past clients then you already know that a VERY POWERFUL campaign is the BYOP REACTIVATION campaign.

This costs very little money to no money to run. It does take time, and a plan.

“NEW” Social Media- Facebook is insane with the amount of exposure you can get. Look up businesses, friends, old friends, get friends to get their friends to like your business and offer some kind of incentive if need be.

Just keep in mind with all of these initiatives you must continually ask yourself - “How will this relationship produce results”. And if they fail to produce results, cut them quick!

The truth is that there are endless opportunities, and endless ways to get NEW clients.

You have to change how you look at each contact you have as a possible lead, a referral source, a public speaking opportunity, SA, or someone who might bring you into their sphere of influence.

YOU MUST set a goal each day and get it done.

If you are in crisis mode (financially speaking) then there is NO EXCUSE TO NOT GET THIS DONE.

Your time should be spent on developing a strategy that maximizes what you have in front of you and continually reviewing the results and making decisions based on those results.

Above all stop doing what doesn’t produce results.

If you have no money then either borrow some for marketing or you MUST focus on other marketing strategies., or a combination of both.

It’s not a great situation to be in but you can change it with MASSIVE ACTION (thank you Tony Robbins).

Go Get it DONE!

Who’s the Boss? Employee or You?

“When I’m the boss I will treat my employee’s better than any boss I had treated me.”

We try to be the best boss possible. We spend hours thinking of how to pay them, job perks, bonuses, vacation time, health benefits, etc., but what happens when we take it too far?

Wanting to provide the best work environment and offer competitive compensation packages to attract and hold on to top employees is absolutely what you should be doing. However…….

I have seen a trend lately that is killing business owners.

Employees are taking over the business

The worst part is that owners are stressing out, panicking, and spending tons of time away from activities that grow the business. I’m not saying that dealing with employees doesn’t deserve your attention or time, but when it causes you stress, and you start adjusting your business processes, or structure to accommodate the employee, SOMETHING IS WRONG.

I was talking to Bill and Ted recently and they have been on an excellent adventure with their business.

However, they get pulled away from growing the business because they have to constantly step into the day-to-day processes and correct their employees.

In Bill and Ted’s case, their trainers weren’t checking clients in and out, and weren’t training or treating clients the way they wanted them to.

Bill and Ted had tried to correct the problem in the past, but the trainers complained that there wasn’t enough time to greet a client the right way or check them in because they had back-to-back clients. Bill and Ted’s employees always seem to find a reason to NOT do their job.

What did Bill and Ted do?

They started picking up the slack for their trainers. They tried to take the responsibility off the trainers and tweak their process to help their trainers.

Employees aren’t doing what they are supposed to

The day will come when your employees aren’t doing what you want them to do. Not doing the simple day-to-day stuff they once did or should be doing. If you’re lucky, maybe this didn’t start happening for a year or more.

If it hasn’t yet, there will soon come a day when your employees will want more money, hate their schedules, get burnt out, show up late, not follow dress code, say something they shouldn’t, stop doing what they are supposed to, or just overall act in a way that you don’t approve of.

A lot of owners BLAME THEMSELVES. Now, I say that with some hesitation because if you don’t have job descriptions, and the employees don’t have CLEAR understanding of WHAT is expected, then some blame might go to you.

Why do we let our employees run the show?

Because we don’t want to lose them, we don’t think we can find better ones, if they just fixed this one thing they would be GREAT, it’s my fault.

These are just a few of the reasons owners give for NOT for not taking full responsibility for addressing the real issues.

For whatever reason a lot of owners take it upon themselves to come up with a solution for why THEIR employees aren’t doing the job they signed up for.

That might be the definition of INSANITY.

You’re the boss, not your employee

If you haven’t gone through DUPLICATOR® then that’s the first step…or review it as soon as you are done reading this.

In Bill and Ted’s case they need to change their mindset.

Owners know what the employees should be doing and you need to hold your employees accountable to the job description they signed up for. Don’t ever change a job description or requirements to try to accommodate an employee.

Remember that you have the job, and the requirements to fulfill that job.

The person you hire should fill YOUR needs.

You should not alter or try to accommodate an employee because you are desperate, scared, or unsure.

There are 2 basic questions to determine if it is a management problem or an employee issue. After these are answered then there is no reason why an employee can’t do what you want them to.

Has the employee seen or been given their job description with defined roles, tasks, AND has someone shown them specific tasks?

Do they know where the materials are, how to access them, who to ask in case they don’t know how to fulfill their job responsibilities?

Once these questions are answered ‘YES’ then its time to address the issue with the employee and determine the corrective action that needs to occur to fix the employee issue.

This should not take more than a week.

How to stay ahead of the game and remain the boss

Here’s an 8 step checklist for you to stay ahead of the game and “remain the boss:”

Keep a constant flow of new hire leads coming in. Hold on to resumes of qualified applicants.

Understand your employees’ needs.

Visualize –What do YOU want their behavior to look like. You keep the vision.

There must be consequences to their actions.

Review your hiring process.

Create an employee handbook that outlines expectations, and policies of the company.

Develop Standard Operating Procedures for each position.

Performance reviews for each position must be done quarterly.

Dealing with employees is an ongoing process, and just remember that with some organization and clear communication dealing with employees can result in GREAT results, and less stress for you, BOSS.

Allen Linville- The coach’s coach, Allen started off as a top Fitness Together franchisee in upstate New York.

Happy Monday everyone!

Our support team has been getting a ton of questions about Pushups For Charity.

And since we’re “on the run” with this launch and I don’t have much time left to promote, I thought I’d just post the FAQ here.

Q: I’ve never participated in your Pushups For Charity event. Can you tell me the quick story of what’s involved and what I get when I sign up to be a “host” site?

Yes! Pushups For Charity is a movement started by NPE 2 years ago to raise awareness on fitness and needed funds for important causes we feel strongly about giving back to.

By registering as a “host” site for an event, we provide you with all the systems, tools, and coaching you’ve come to love from us. We walk you step-by-step through building and training a TEAM to compete in a Pushups For Charity event in your local area on May 19th (Armed Services Day).

This year, you’ll also be given a directory listing and page on our national website www.pushupsforcharity.com , where we’ll be driving traffic and leads from all over the country to register for your local event.

AND you’ll get to compete in the national contest we’ve put together with 3 categories for TEAM recognition and 4 categories for PARTICIPANT recognition.

It’s a whole lot of fun and the event is pretty simple to run (especially with all the new components and how we’ve streamlined things this year!)

Our tagline for Pushups For Charity is “Get Fit, Have Fun, and Make Difference.”

That’s what it’s all about. 100% of all proceeds raised from Pushups For Charity go to benefit the Boot Campaign, a 501(c)3
charity organization dedicated to raising awareness and giving for our military and veterans so they are never forgotten.

Q: I’ve been part of Pushups For Charity in the past, but I’ve heard you mention there is a lot that’s “NEW” for this year. What’s new?

Great! We’d love to have you back with us again for this year!

A LOT of stuff is NEW for this year including:

We now have 1 national website for everyone involved (no more “mini-site” you have to go through the pains of setting up yourself)

We’ve invested in a BIG national PR campaign to build the buzz and drive leads to your local event (you don’t have to rely on just your marketing efforts alone)

We have a NEW online platform for raising and collecting donations which is really cool and integrates social media platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Linked in, and more. This makes it REALLY easy for your team members to get the word out… “virually” invite their friends, family, and co-workers to “join your team” and do pushups with you… and raise funds fast with the simple “push of a button!”

We’ve updated all our training lessons/tools, and now have assembled a national advisory board of 9 successful PUC members and leaders in our community that have all participated in revamping PUC in a major way. Our advisory board members will be supporting each and every team leader (that’s YOU!) to ensure your event is a great success this year.

We’ve put together a FUN national contest with all kinds of cool prizes for both TEAMS and PARTICIPANTS. Get cool swag from us and the Boot Campaign, and win one of the several all-expenses paid trips to Hollywood we’re giving away this year. You’ll join us in partying with the cast of Sons of Anarchy, the hit FX tv show, on August 26th at the Boot Ride event and have a great time!

And a whole lot more. Basically EVERYTHING is new!

Q: I’ve noticed you are no longer partnered with the Wounded Warrior Project and now Pushups For Charity is supporting the Boot Campaign as your partner charity organization. Why is that and can you tell me a little more about the Boot Campaign?

Yes. After 2 years of working with the Wounded Warrior Project, we’ve experienced enough logistical challenges that we were motivated to go find another charity partner that would be easier for us to work with.

After reading “Lone Survivor” by Marcus Luttrell, we were inspired and went on a journey to find a new charity partner which lead us to the Boot Campaign.

You can read more about the Boot Campaign on our site here

And I, Sean Greeley, am honored to now serve as a board member for their organization. This is a great charity, that’s a lot of fun to work with, and through their relationships we’re able to increase our publicity and bring some fun “star power” to Pushups For Charity in an exciting way.

Q: If this is a charity fundraising event, why is there an investment required to be a “host” site?

Great question. 100% of all proceeds from Pushups For Charity go directly to the Boot Campaign. But putting on a big national campaign like this is not cheap. So your investment in registering as a “host site” goes towards things like video marketing, photography, creative, publicist work, and a whole lot more.

As a “host site” you’ll receive a complete “host/facility system kit” shipped to your door and 3 live training sessions provided via webinar where we provide done-for-you systems, tools, and coaching for you to build a tremendous team, capture major publicity attention, and pull off a great event “claiming a position of leadership” in your community in a big way.

You’ll also be connected to our national publicty campaign AND we’re driving NEW leads to YOU.

At the end of this year’s event all host sites will receive an excel file with full contact information of prospects, team members, and donors so you can thank them for their support and “follow up” on inviting them to take advantage of any of your fitness service/product offerings.

In an exciting format, this is done-for-you publicity and lead generation at it’s finest to benefit your business… and a great cause… in a powerful way.

I can’t imagine this NOT working out for you and your business in a tremendously positive ROI, but if for ANY reason before, during, or after your event you’re not 100% satisfied with your experience you may request a no-questions asked, hassle-free, full refund on your $397 investment to participate as a “host” site by simply contacting the NPE offices.

I believe so strongly in what we’re doing here with Pushups For Charity that I’m personally guaranteeing and backing your
investment all the way myself.

Q: I don’t want to sign up as a “host” site. But I’m still interested in participating in some way. How can I get involved and still donate to the Boot Campaign?

No worries. We’re currently focused on enrolling a few more host/facility sites right now, because we’re staring training for
all our “team leaders” right away.

But even if you’re not a host site, you’ll still have an opportunity to participate in Pushups For Charity as a “virtual” member of team NPE and we’ll be sending out more details about that in a couple weeks or so. Stay tuned!

Q: When is the deadline to sign up as a “host site”?

We start training this Thursday, so if you have an interest in participating as a host site/team leader.. then NOW is the time to get on this and register!

Register online now at here.

Ok, any further questions please feel free to reply to this email or contact us by phone at 888.866.4998.

We look forward to having you join us in one way or another for this exciting movement!

To your success,
Sean

P.S. After 6+ years of teaching event marketing I can confidently say this IS now the simplest and most powerful done-for-you “event” marketing system we’ve ever introduced.

And I can’t think of a more worthy cause than supporting our military and veterans. Freedom isn’t free. These guys and gals need your support. Please join us and get in on the fun!

P.P.S. Still have a question I’ve missed answering here?

Please don’t let that hold you back. Please send an email to support@netprofitexplosion.com with your question or contact us by phone at 888.866.4998.
