Hey, sorry I’ve been quiet on email the past couple weeks.

I’ve been “holed up” in my cave putting in a lot of project work time on some exciting things over here… including a ton of NEW developments for our VIP members.

Anyway, thought I’d share a great video with you today from the late Jack Lalanne.

It’s some great advice that we can all be reminded of from time to time.

Just got back home late last night from Houston, were I spent the last couple days with our newest partner The Boot Campaign.

If you missed attending MEGA TRAINING, then I haven’t gotten to share with you the big news that we’ve partnered with a fantastic organization called The Boot Campaign for our Pushups For Charity program in 2012.

We’ll be sharing much more on this over the coming months ahead!

But today I just wanted to introduce them to you and share a little bit about their story with you…

The Boot Campaign is a grassroots military appreciation and veteran awareness campaign started by five women from Texas, known as the Boot Girls.

The Boot Girls launched the Boot Campaign in 2009 to spread awareness of the needs of military personnel returning home from combat and express gratitude to current military.

And since that time, the initiative has really exploded in a very big way!

We’ve got some VERY big plans in the works behind the scenes right now.

And our goal for 2012 is to raise $500,000 to donate to the Boot Campaign through the Pushups For Charity project this year.

Well I’m resting up at the beach this weekend, but I have one final video from the road to share with you today.

We spent a few great days on the road with my friend (and coach) James Fitzgerald in Scottsdale, AZ and then mountain biking up in Moab, UT.

James just opened up a VERY high-end facility in Scottsdale which I’ll tell you more about later… really cool stuff these guys are doing to push the future of fitness and answer some big questions that have never been addressed.

At MEGA TRAINING James will be speaking on Assessment & Program Design… and what I think is an incredibly important topic of delivering an “honest” prescription to your clients.

MANY seem to be missing this in our industry.

Mark shared with me that since winning a scholarship for MEGA TRAINING last year himself, he has experienced such a dramatic shift in his business and his life that he wanted to do something to give back.

So he reached out to other VIP clients of ours and together they have all made donations and raised a total of $5,250 to go towards “paying it forward”.

They have decided that 5 folks will receive $1,050 toward ticket, hotel, flight, and spending cash to attend MEGA TRAINING this year.

Here’s how you can apply to win:

1. Submit your story in the comments section of this blog post following the instructions in the video
2. Be sure to do so by the deadline of this Friday, September 16th
3. Do a good job in being authentic and get chosen to come join us in Orlando!

The VIP members who have donated to this fund will select the 5 winners and we’ll announce them on our blog next Sunday the 19th (7 days from now).

P.P.S. Just reading this letter from Mark Hill, and seeing what our community has done by putting this “Pay it Forward” program together all on their own demonstrates the high caliber of folks we have in our NPE family.

I have NEVER heard of something like this being done by a group of clients for ANY other event, in ANY other industry. That alone should give you yet another reason to get yourself registered for MEGA TRAINING.

Truth be told, our continued success is becoming more about THEM then it is about US. I certainly encourage you to apply for the scholarship, but if you can find a way to afford it on your own dime then just stop procrastinating and get registered now.

If you’re serious about growing your business, you need to be in Orlando so you can spend time with THEM.

So I’m finally getting to post some videos we recorded this past week in California. And we’ve got some great stuff to share.

Sunday we spent the day in Huntington Beach with VIP Members Paul & Carolyn Fetters. VIP Members Trent & Vickie Mitchell also joined us for dinner later that evening and took a few minutes to record this short interview in Paul’s garage.

Last year was Trent’s 1st MEGA TRAINING event with us.

I’m still on the road in California and yesterday we had the pleasure of spending the day with Dan John.

Last year Dan spoke at our MEGA TRAINING event and received a 5 min standing ovation from the audience. And by popular demand, we’ve brought him back again for this year’s event.

In another video update from the road we talked about what it’s been like for Dan to go through total hip replacement just a few weeks ago, his new book (co-authored with Pavel) scheduled for release in September called Easy Strength, and a few other updates including the incredible presentation Dan’s been working on for MEGA TRAINING this year.
