Drowning in your fitness business TO-DO list? Read this…
Friday night Brandy and I took Sean and Christina out to Angus Barn (famous steak restaurant here in Raleigh) for a farewell dinner…they’re heading home to Orlando this week. We had some really good laughs over some really good food.
My best friend from high school – and still my best friend today – was in town over the weekend for his son’s inline hockey tournament, so we caught a couple of those games – amazing 12 and 13 year old athletes putting on a show!
But now it’s Monday morning, and I’m back at it, chopping away to get the work done, just like you.
But I’m willing to bet my work is much more focused than yours, and therefore much more productive.
I’m not bragging – it wasn’t always this way.
I used to drown in my TO-DO list. And few things cause more stress than that. You know what I mean?
It’s miserable when you’re constantly playing catch-up…and you never seem to catch up.
That misery can overflow into every aspect of your life – sapping a lot of the fun and enjoyment out of everything you do – because you’ve got this dark cloud of work following you around all the time.
For me the change came when Sean developed and implemented a project management system for all of us here at NPE. It provided structure, organization and efficiency to our work flow.
It’s killer stuff – kind of like bolting a turbo-charger onto the business. We get so much done, and done right, in really compressed periods of time.
And since we hear so often from fit-pros how they struggle with getting the right things done, how they’re drowning in their TO-DO list just like I was, Sean’s put together a quick and easy project management system for you.
The key word there is SYSTEM.
As always, we don’t just give you a bunch of ideas or tips. You can get that stuff anywhere.
What I needed to double my productivity was a “box” to work in. A structured system.
I imagine that’s what you need, too.
Well, you’ll get it tomorrow – Sean’s putting the final touches on it today (while also managing 11 other projects, including his move to Orlando – the packers are at his house right now).
If anybody knows project management inside and out, it’s Sean. As a company, we’ve invested tens of thousands in his education, and he took that education and applied it.
If you ever get a chance to see “behind the curtain” of our business, it will stun you.
And that’s possible because we have a killer project management system in place.
If you want one too, we’ll have it for you tomorrow…and it’s so cheap the price will make you chuckle.
Make it a great week,
Eric Ruth
